Girard Equipment is excited to start filling up the large Toys for Tots box this weekend. Thaks to the Indian River Sheriff’s office, we are able to participate in this great program that gives toys to the kids in our local area who may not have a Christmas without this assistance. All GEI employees were happy to throw in money and combined with the Girard Equipment corporate donation, we look forward to going out this weekend to neighboring merchants and purchasing all the toys we can!
This box will soon be full for all the kids we can bring toys and smiles to.
Thanks for the extra exposure TCPalm:

It was a beautiful Friday night in Vero Beach,FL on December 7th and the Tara Plantation could not have sparkled anymore than it did that evening. The Night of Lights, an annual event hosted by the Exchange Club of the Treasure Coast, is a soiree complete with wine tastings and silent auction to help raise funds for three local charities committed to the prevention of child abuse. Girard Equipment was a proud sponsor this year and felt fortunate to help such a great cause. The event also included a live band for dancing and the most beautiful Christmas backdrop imaginable for sunny Florida. Great job Exchange Club of the Treasure Coast!

And the list goes on…still we wanted to point out that this is the time of year when we can all reflect on both the good and bad that has occured over the last year; as we did we realized we are fortunate to be able to do what we do and help those we can along the way. May you all feel inspired by the people and events that surround you and do your part to give back this Holiday Season.

Girard’s Fall Frolic BBQ was a complete success! This past Friday, Nov. 16th, Girard Equipment hosted a fall inspired BBQ to show our apprecation to our great employees and county heads that help make our growth possible. The delicious menu put on by Tommy Rogers and crew consisted of the most tender and flavorful pulled pork, ribs, and chicken along with all the fixings like baked beans, coleslaw, and corn. The desserts were not forgotten about…no sir! Spiced cake for the season and gourmet cookies in a range of flavors were offered along with sweet tea and sodas. Best of all, we transformed our facility into a fall frenzy with bails of straw, autumn centerpieces, pumpkins, and fall colored balloons. The weather Florida provided was perfect with a nice breeze and a cool 70 degrees. Most importantly, everyone had a good time! Breaking bread with the ones you collaborate with is an important facet to any structurized organization and this BBQ did not disappoint. We look forward to our upcoming Christmas party and wish all our employees and friends a wonderful holiday season.

These great people provided us a fantastic meal.
- Our guys were happy with food and the line moved fast!
Planning our first house build for Habitat for Humanity, Mr. Girard used this time after lunch to get the staff motivated to build!
Who doesn’t love feedback from the guys? Here’s our fun Girard Equipment NTTC Show interview with the “G” Men….NTTC Show
Girard Equipment is celebrating its 60th birthday this year. Since 1952 and the need for internal pressure of road tankers arose, we have been a leader in the industry. It is an honor that helps us to evolve, currently GEI have over 30 unique designs for pressure relief vents as well as vacuum breakers and our locations are expanding including our newest location in The Netherlands.
Girard Equipment has consistently established itself as the preferred alternative valves supplier in the European market. With many thousands of valves and components now operating from the Eurozone in the Off-Shore, IBC, Tank Trailer and Tank Container sectors; the opening of Girard Equipment’s newest location has arrived at just the right time.
Girard NL has been specially designed to support existing clients and also provide real time response to all contacts in Europe. In order to properly cater to the European market, Girard NL has been staffed by: Cor Koning, Anita Aslan, and Romano Bracyk. Cor Koning has been a member of the Girard team for quite some time and is the head of management for this region. Inside sales representation will be handled by Anita Aslan and all warehouse activities will be monitored by Romano Bracxk. Girard NL will provide several key functions for our clients including: quotations, order processing and tracking, warehouse services, testing and repair, and most importantly give our growing customer base a local contact from a global supplier.
The Girard Equipment guys brainstorming and assisting clients.
The National Tank Truck Carriers hosted their annual show in Louisville, KY this past week. What a spectacular event with a majority of the industry’s movers and shakers all in attendance. Girard Equipment has been an associate member since the late 60’s and every year we look forward to attending because of the insight it provides into our craft. The needs of our clients is always our motivator and being able interact with them on such a personal level during the show is greatly appreciated.
Vice President, Dave Girard spoke twice during the three day event for Bench Testing requirements on behalf of the TTMA and about Hydraulic Clean-Out Valves to promote increased safety. Meanwhile our staff of highly informed sales reps manned the booth including: Brent Beamesderfer (Southwewst Sales), Jim Pflum (NorthEast Sales), John L. Girard (Eastern Coast Sales/Superstar), and Anna Valencia (Director of Marketing based out of Florida). Never a dull moment at our booth; we provide fun giveaways including custom Girard gum packets, business card holders, and pen caddies.
Thank you to all our customers who came by and shared their support of the Girard Equipment standards and to those who are to become life-long customers moving forward. Thank you again to the NTTC and all your efforts: Fritz, Dan, Joan, and Monica you all did a wonderful job!

Pretty exciting…and just one more way Girard Equpment looks to support our customers. President of Girard Equipment, Timothy Girard says “it is quite the accomplishment over the last six decades of business, to be recognized as the standard for tank component parts and to be referred to by name as the trusted brand throughout North America.” With such a great reputation to keep and absolute dedication to our craft, Girard Equipment looks forward to offering this exclusive training seminars on a first come, first serve basis starting this winter of 2012.
